The family of Crossroads is genuinely invested in our community, finding multiple ways to reach out to La Grande and beyond to “Love like Jesus.” Our people are serving at the local Food Bank, at Next Step Pregnancy and Relationship Center, with FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and a number of other local charities. We financially support these as well as Neighbors Together ministries, Grande Ronde Academy, Hannah Grace Ministry & funding for travelers and emergency need through the Police and Sheriff’s office. We also support other outreach ministries in our state and through our Missions organization.

Food Bank
Each Tuesday we volunteer at the LG Neighbors Together Food Bank. We meet at the Mountain Life Church facility behind Wal-Mart @ 9am to organize and distribute food to those who come. Once a month, we deliver food boxes to shut ins and the disabled. Volunteers welcome, just show up @ 9:30am, Tuesdays, at Mountain Life. Use the door on the south side of the building.
Shepherding
Our Council members and a few other volunteers take responsibility to follow up on visitors and those in our church family who have been unable to attend. Cards, small gifts and flowers as a reminder of being loved.
Prayer Team
Crossroads is a church family of grace and compassion. We invite you to contact us and share your prayer requests. You can do that here or in person using one of our Communication Cards. Your requests are kept confidential by the Pastor and Prayer Team.
FCA
We have some amazing college students leading the local FCA group (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) each Wed night, 7pm at Grande Reach. This ministry relies on prepared meals for groups of 40 each week. If you would like to volunteer to prepare a meal for one Wednesday, please use the form below to volunteer. If you are college age, they invite you to drop in… Worship and Dinner ea Wednesday evening. There are also groups created for the purpose of reaching the Middle School and Hi School Students at J-House, Mondays and Wednesdays. Check our Calendar for more details.

We support NextStep Center with funds and volunteers from our church family. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact NextStep directly, and let them know you would like to volunteer. This local ministry is a tremendous resource for those with planned or unexpected pregnancies. We are honored to be a partner.
